It’s finally June, which means the 81st Legislative Session has come to a close at last.  NARAL Pro-Choice Texas and many others have worked hard over the past five months to make women’s health and reproductive rights a priority this session.  Many things were accomplished and still other battles remain to be fought.  We at NARAL Pro-Choice Texas strive to keep our supporters informed and up-to-date on all the latest reproductive rights developments, since we know that we couldn’t do any of this without you!  In that spirit, we would like to invite you to a celebratory luncheon with our Legislative Counsel, Blake Rocap, State Rep. Jessica Farrar, and other special legislative guests. 

 

Blake has spent the past five months working tirelessly with Texas legislators on both sides of the aisle in order to stop the bad bills and make sure the good bills pass.  While you enjoy your lunch, he and Rep. Farrar will provide a first-person account of what we accomplished this session in terms of reproductive rights – the good, the bad and the ugly (in Texas, we know there’s usually an ugly!).
