Rally for Health Care Reform - Houston 10/04/08

Join us at Houston City Hall on October 4th from 4-6pm to rally for health care for all Texans!

The rally will include speakers, performers, voter registration, vendors, artists, and a memorial service for those who have died due to lack of medical coverage.  Come learn more about single payer reform and HR 676, and discuss strategies to eliminate health disparities.

NARAL Pro-Choice Texas Foundation will have a Healthy Women, Healthy Families booth, where we will be collecting stories about healthcare challenges rally participants have faced.  The Healthy Women, Healthy Families coalition aims to collect personal stories from 2,000 Texas women.  This spring, we will bring these stories to your lawmakers to lobby for improved healthcare services for women and families across Texas.  Visit www.HealthyWomenHealthyFamilies.org to learn more or share your story today!
