January 22 marks the 37th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in 1973. While access to abortion is still incredibly difficult -- and sometimes impossible -- for many women, we like to pause every year to reflect on the difference that the Roe decision has made in the lives of so many others.
