I found out I was pregnant during my last semester in college back in 1977. I had a boyfriend who I continued to live with for a few years. Neither of us were ready to be parents. Over 30 years later I don't regret the decision I made. My boyfriend went on to have three sons and I have one son. Our lives would have been very different if we didn't have the option of having an abortion. He and I have recently friended each other on Facebook. I think the abortion is the elephant in the room but I'm confident that we both know we made the right decision.
