An Ob/Gyn's story
I was a resident in Ob/Gyn from 1971-1975 at the Brookdale Medical Center in New York. We admitted an average of 2-3 women per day for complications of illegal abortion. Most required a surgical procedure to completely remove remaining tissue and stop the bleeding. Other patients needed antibiotics or blood, and a few required major surgery to control their infections. This caused some to become infertile. We must never allow women to have to resort to these procedures. Anonymous
