Austin City Council Passes Important Ordinance on April 8! Austin becomes second city in nation to require anti-choice crisis pregnancy centers to post a sign at their entrance disclosing that they do not provide or make referrals for birth control or abortion services On April 8, Austin City Council members voted unanimously to approve an ordinance that requires anti-choice crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) to display signs to ensure women visiting an Austin CPC know that they will not receive comprehensive birth control or abortion services or referrals.
